In order to better study the green development path of the printing industry, cangdaqiang, a professor from Beijing University of science and technology, was specially invited to the symposium to elaborate on the ideas and suggestions of the green development of the printing industry from the perspective of the development of circular economy, green industry, green printing and so on. He said that the domestic green printing industry started late, lagging behind the United States, Britain, Japan and other developed countries. He put forward suggestions from the perspective of cross fields. The green development of the printing industry should achieve multi-scale research, and promote the green process from the macro, mesoscopic and micro levels: the macro design is the large-scale system design (the connection with other industries, society and nature), not isolated and limited in the printing plant and industry, but should focus on the development of the whole industrial chain; In terms of mesoscopic design, the green software and hardware design and process in the printing plant are the research objects; Micro design includes environmental protection, energy conservation, resource utilization and basic research in equipment. An important aspect of the green project also includes the development of disruptive technologies, and the reform and innovation of existing processes, equipment, raw materials, information acquisition, control methods, etc. In addition, we should strengthen basic research and theoretical research, strengthen international exchanges and cooperation, and strengthen intelligent and digital research while carrying out green printing process.

He stressed that packaging is one of the effective boosters of economic development, and the fundamental strategy for sustainable development of packaging is green development. The current strategies are mainly manifested in reduction, recycling and reuse, as well as reducing environmental hazards. The development of packaging industry policy and standardization has developed from the end treatment stage of packaging waste recycling to the front-end control stage of packaging reduction and resource conservation. At present, it has developed to the full life cycle stage of multi factor ecosystem management. The policy on the development of green packaging is gradually expanded, and the standardization of the green development of packaging products is gradually improved. The packaging industry should start from legislation The three directions of standardization and industrial development consider the strategy of sustainable development of packaging, and accelerate the process of sustainable development of the industry.

How to promote the green process of printing industry? Yuanyuxia, President of Beijing green printing and packaging industry technology research institute, said that she hoped to systematically evaluate the specific implementation path and implementation method of the greening of the printing industry, as well as the theory and practice of sustainable development of enterprises, establish relevant standards, improve the certification and supervision system, and point out the direction for the transformation and upgrading of printing enterprises through in-depth research. It is hoped that with the efforts of all members of the industry, a complete green development system will be established and a green development road map of printing enterprises will be formed, so as to promote the steady development of the printing industry in the mainstream direction of green, intelligent and digital integration.           

Xu Tianping of Beijing jinyinlian International Supply Chain Co., Ltd. creatively proposed a 'booksafe' green and safe book printing system. He said that with the economic development, each book and periodical segment market is becoming more and more specialized, refined and personalized. Therefore, for different types of books, combined with the demands and use scenarios of target readers, a targeted 'booksafe' green and safe book printing system has been designed, which can improve readers' reading experience and eliminate or reduce the potential health risks of specific groups, Books in the system will resolutely put an end to the use of harmful substances and adopt low migration products. The green safety system will provide protection from five aspects: book design, material selection, printing process control, finished product inspection, storage and transportation. At present, the 'booksafe' system still needs to be demonstrated in many ways and continued to be improved, so as to realize the promotion in the whole industry and speed up the greening process of the industry.             

Suggestions and new ideas for green development               

One of the main agendas of this symposium is to listen to the suggestions of experts inside and outside the industry, study the connotation and extension of the green development of the printing industry, explore the development path of intelligence, digitization and greening, put forward ideas for system construction, and launch a large-scale research on the green development of the industry. To this end, the participants brainstormed around the following five topics.
